5 Simple Fitness Tips For Lazy Girls
Everyone wants a Fit body but how they wish to attain it is a different story. In this modern society. It is already hard to spend some quality time with our families. It doesn’t matter what age they are, each and everyone is too busy with their studies or work. some do both at the same time. Everyone wants to shed some weight and get fit as fast as possible. In this modern world, some may have physical work but most of us are just sitting in an office in front of a computer which makes us lazy and in turn, leads to an unhealthy lifestyle that increases our stress levels and affects our overall health, appearance, and finally our confidence.
Following a healthy lifestyle with proper dieting and physical activities such as yoga, exercise, or weight lifting is important. But if you are too lazy for that. then it can’t be helped. Let’s just do something small and time-efficient that changes our lifestyle for good.
1.Practice Healthy Eating
Everyone knows healthy eating promotes a healthy body. Don’t get lazy now. I won’t tell you to stop eating french fries but limit yourselves from eating too much. You can eat your favorites one in a while but be wary of how much you eat. Your food style should be based on veggies, fruits, nuts, lentils, and legumes. After all, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, proteins, fibers, and healthy fats are necessary for a healthy lifestyle, and they can promote weight loss. You can also switch to a high protein foodstyle but avoid processed meats
2. Keep It Short
If you are too lazy to hit the gym for 2 hours a day then you can go for a short and intense workout routine for just 10 minutes. you could try the following exercises.
- 50 jumping jacks.
- 15 bodyweight squats.
- 15 push-ups or knee push-ups.
- 15 reverse lunges per side.
- 15 dips (using chair, bench, or other elevated surfaces)
At first, do it once for a week or so. when it becomes easier for you to do it. Then increase your intensity by doing twice and again after some weeks do it thrice. It may sound simple but let me be honest it would be a little hard for you in your 1st week but remember if you wish to change then not just change a routine but change yourself completely.
3.Create Some Quality Time With Your Partner
Don’t get me wrong. Several studies published in the last few years have discussed sex and calorie expenditure. One of the studies from the University of Quebec in Canada conducted with 21 heterosexual couples in their early 20s. Researchers tracked energy expenditure in sexual activity. They used armbands to track activity. Perceived energy expenditure, perception of effort, fatigue, and pleasure were also assessed after sexual activity. Research shows that a man burns roughly 101 calories during the period of sex and a woman burns roughly 70 calories during the period of sex.
4.Stay Hydrated
Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.
Water can also be used as a cheat drink. Drinking water before eating makes you feel fuller and makes you eat less. You may think that you can drink some other juices or sodas before eating rather than drinking water. It’s up to you but if you want to shed some kgs in your body then I highly suggest you choose water because soft drinks are sweetened and there are some unhealthy fats in them that would lead to gain weight.
Not only that, Drinking a glass of water boosts your metabolism. Metabolism is the process your body uses to make and burn energy from food. You rely on your metabolism to breathe, think, digest, circulate blood, keep warm in the cold, and stay cool in the heat. It is a common belief that raising your metabolism helps you burn more calories and increase weight loss.
5.Sleep
When you’re running low on sleep, you’ll probably have trouble holding onto and recalling details. That’s because sleep plays a big part in both learning and memory. Without enough sleep, it’s tough to focus and take in new information. Your brain also doesn’t have enough time to properly store memories so you can pull them up later.
While you sleep, your blood pressure goes down, giving your heart and blood vessels a bit of a rest. A good and quality sleep controls blood sugar levels and not only that if you are doing exercise then your muscle needs time to repair and rebuild without good sleep whatever you do you won’t shed any weight.
To help you ward off illnesses, your immune system identifies harmful bacteria and viruses in your body and destroys them. Ongoing lack of sleep changes the way your immune cells work. They may not attack as quickly, and you could get sick more often. And when you’re well-rested, you’re less hungry. Being sleep-deprived messes with the hormones in your brain — leptin and ghrelin — that control appetite. So sleep is very important when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. So give yourself a proper good night's sleep. It is the only way in which you can appreciate your body for all its hard work for the day.
